I was getting the P0456 - Minor Evap code and MIL was on.
I put some petroleum jelly on the gas cap gasket and a week later my MIL went out.
The P-code still displays when I do the on/off 3 times with ignition trick.
Will the code eventually clear or do I have to reset manually? Any idea if having this code present even if MIL is off will fail me on emissions? ( Ohio Echeck - uses OBDC for test).
