Default 04 Durango electrical Issues

I have an '04 Durango and I started noticing some crazy stuff with the dash lights last week. The speed sensor light came on with the high temp light and the oil light flickered when ideling. I checked oil level, OK. I checked coolant level and yeah it was a little low so I topped it off. Then the next day within the first 10 minutes of the truck running the temperature gauge spiked and then backed down within 30 seconds. Last night I stopped to get gas and when I went to start truck up, it clicked like the battery was dead. I got it started with a jump and the then went out this morning to make sure it started before everyone left for work. It started right up but an hour later, I went out to start it to get to work and it clicked again. I cleaned the cables and terminals. I did notice that when I reattached the positive cable I got a clicking sound near the fire wall. I haven't stopped at AZ to have alternator checked but could this also be a BCM an if so how easy is that to fix?

Make sure all the recalls have been addressed. One pertains to the instrument cluster.
