on christmas eve my gf blew the motor in the hemi. i could see a hole in the side of the block so i knew it was bad. We filed a claim with the insurance (due to hydrolock we think) and they're paying to put in a 2wd engine out of a 05 (didnt say if it was another durango or not) with 30k less miles on it. my question/concern is our durango is a 04 4wd they had to order a new oil pan for it but what else if anything is needed for this swap. they say it is compatible and are backing it with a 90 day warranty.

 

If the replacement motor is a hemi then it's probably correct.
