I have an 07 dodge durango thats throwing a weird transmission code something about fourth gear not being in sink has anyone ever had this problem ? And how did u fix it ?

 

I had a code for 'incorrect ratio for 4th gear' or something like that name and I had to get mine rebuilt. $3,200.00 later all was fine and I traded it in for my SRT a year later.

also, mine was a 2007 Hemi Limited Durango like yours.

 

What is the transmission code that came up?

 

Im not sure there was two codes though 4th gear ratio in correct and pressure to low anf the crazy part is the check engine light went off this morning and shes shifting like a champ so im kinda dumb founded on this

 

When was the trans serviced last? Might be a good time for a drain and refill with a new filter.
Beyond that, how new is your battery? If it is weak or on the way out you will see all kinds of weird stuff going on because the umpteen computers don't have a good, strong reference voltage to work from.
