Default High Idle until I drop it into gear?

Hemi 5.7 Limited 4x4, why does it idle high until I drop it into gear? No codes present.

Could be a vacuum leak, could be a sticky or dirty throttle body, could be one of the sensors going out (bad, but not bad enough to throw a code)...

How high is it idling? How many miles? Done any repairs lately? If you drive it for a while and warm it up, thenput it in neutral, does it still idle high?

It Idles at 1250 until you drop it into gear, then sits at 750 rpm. Kick it into neutral or park and it stays at at 750. It's not a mechanical issue, it's an ECM decision... curious as to why it might do that is all.
