Default To buy or not to buy?

I am looking into replacing my 05 Honda Pilot with 195K miles. I have three kids so I do use the third row seats. I started thinking about going for something bigger and in my search it looks like a Durango 2nd Gen might be the way to go. I must admit I have only owned Hondas and Toyotas so this is new terrain to me. I found a 2006 near me with 99K miles on it. Any thoughts on whether to jump on this? Not sure what I should be concerned about? Any model years in this range that I should be looking for or avoiding?

I personally do not own a durango and do not know the exact years / generations to look out for. However; in general i do know that the durangos are some pretty decent cars. IMHO I would buy a durango over a honda or toyota anytime, but thats just my .02

Another option is the Journey with 3rd row seats. We are extremely pleased with ours. It's our second one. (first was an 09). The Journey often gets overlooked but expect to spend thousands more for a similarly equipped SUV (or CUV) with 3rd row seating.
