I own a 2005 Durango with about 82,000 miles. Last fall, I started having problems with stalling and check engine light going on and off. It was determined to be the crank sensor. That was replaced, as well as the battery. Early this spring, the same problems again, and they replaced the sensor again. Last week, it stalled a couple of times while cold. But then would start right away again. No check engine light or anything else. Saturday, drove all over town running errands, etc. with no stalling or stuttering. Sunday, it would not start. I had it towed to the repair shop. They just called and said it was the same issue, AGAIN. He told me this time they replaced it with a Dodge part, not an after market part, with the hopes that would solve the problem. But, I am concerned that there is something else causing the issue. Is there something else I should have them look at? Any help or suggestion is appreciated!
