Default superchips to deactivate mds?

Has anyone deactivated the mds with a Super chips 3865 programmer? I just picked up a p3400 engine code

Default

I rolled the dice and bought one used locally (Model 3865). Previous owner was a good egg, let me plug it in and confirm operation prior to exchange.

2007 Limited 5.7L - Yes, MDS can be deactivated (under the advanced settings). FWIW, I uploaded the `87 Octane Tune`at the same time. So many little pet peeves cured with this little red box:

No more hunting for rpm with cruise on the highway (assume this is due to MDS removal). No more silly 2nd gear shift points - transmission shifts are firm but not startling, inspires confidence. Fuel economy doesn`t appear to have suffered, if anything I`ll be watching for improvements.

Once you`ve driven it without MDS, you`ll never go back.

Do NOT correct for tire size, you will generate an ABS Traction Control code (C1078)

I wish I'd bought this ages ago!
