Suspension clunk in rear of 06 Durango
Wife's 06 Durango has a suspension clunk in the rear end. Primarily while turning at slow speed (backing out of drive) is where we notice it most, but occasionally when going over bumps under normal driving conditions we will hear it as well.
I *think* its probably the sway bar end links, but I'm just wanting to hear from the group what you have had issues with.
Thanks!
Clay

Found the problem. It's the bell crank that is part of the Watts linkage. This is attached directly to the differential cover. When the vehicle sways back and forth the bushing at the attachment point pops.
Sorry to be "late to the party" on this one, but I'm happy to hear you've found the cause of your concern. Thanks for posting an update as well! Have you had a chance to repair it or take it in for repairs yet?
Not yet. A replacement Dorman part is about $110. I need to call my local dealer to get their price, but odds are I'm going to buy it online where I've found them for about $60.
I really wish I could just buy the bushing. There is nothing wrong with the bell crank, but no one seems to sell a bushing.
thanks,
Clay
