How to find out if the condenser fan is working or not? i tried with a torch light as an initial work. Doesnt seem to help. Hope my concept is clear. Turn ON AC, condenser fan turns ON. Turn of AC, condenser fan Turns OFF.

My condenser fan is not turning ON when i switch ON the AC.

I could be wrong, but condenser fan kicks on shortly after you engage the A/C, however, A/C compressor will not engage if there is no refrigerant in the system. If there is no (I think) low pressure that compressor will not kick on, in turn the condenser fan will turn on.

I'd start with refrigerant and then go from there.
