Our truck needs a new engine. Both engine remanufacturers I spoke to say that the intake manifold needs to be either replaced or cleaned in a hot tank to maintain warranty due to debris from the engine failure.

I've read about water sitting on intake manifold/head seam and engine sucking water from there. Is there an aluminum or upgraded intake I can put on?
