2nd Gen Durango 2004 - 2009

hello new here having an issue with a 2006 dodge durango tranny

Default hello new here having an issue with a 2006 dodge durango tranny

hello mark waters here have a 2006 dodge durango with a 4.7 liter v8, left work and truck ran fine, left the house shifted into reverse ok shifted into drive car left fine but doesnt want to shift out of 1 st gear, syopped and checked tranny fluid it was full and soes not have a burnt smell to it truck has 90k on odometer what caan be my issue here pretty desperate at this point please help

Same issue here, my wont shift out of 2nd, and it takes forever to go to 3rd.

Start by checking the transmission fluid level and quality. All sorts of conditions can appear if the level is low or if the fluid needs changing.

Also, have you had the vehicle inspected for any trouble codes? An analysis of the code(s) (if present/active) could help identify the issue.

Please report back if possible.
