Default 2008 durango oil light help

As I was driving the oil light came on then went off and will do it repeatedly. Oil is full no leaks had the oil changed a month ago.. no weird noises. The light is not on when I start it. But now it will go on after a while, go off if I accelerate and come back on at a steady speed any ideas... I'm leaning towards the oil sending unit?

Sending unit or the pump. You can verify with a mechanical gauge.

I just joined this forum for this exact problem. Most of the threads I have found point to the sensor. The engine does not make any ticking sounds(yet) and the dipstick reads full. Did you find anything out? I found the sensor on Rock Auto, but there is an option for a sensor "w/ light" and one without. I cannot figure out which one to use.
