Default Alarm system

I am having a problem with my Durango alarm system . My alarm lights are going off nonstop I open the door and the headlights start going off. I have tried disconnectING the battery, among other things but nothing as of yet has seemed to fix my issue. What can I do and how do I go about doing it

This problem usually ends up being the Central Timer Module. You might try getting a dealer to disable the VTSS for you. I've had that work before, but you will lose your keyless along with it.

Hey Chris,

What is the model year and engine type of your vehicle? This kind of info will allow me to better research things like service bulletins.

This as well as if the alarm is factory or aftermarket.

I had a similar issue. Turned out the key fob was so old and dirty inside the panic button was getting stuck down. Ended up burning out the key fob transmitter entirely.

New key fob resolved the issue.
