I have a 2005 durango 4.7 AW/4W. We just replace back brakes tonight. Before we did so everything was fine, started with key and kept running and started with remote starter and was fine. Afterwards though it will start with key but dies immediately, yet it will start with the remote and work just fine. Any ideas?

 

Are there any DTC codes?
Disconnect the battery to reset everything. Hook it back up and see what happens.

 

Thanks, actually it was the key itself. I used my other set and everything was just fine. Tried the old one and sure enough I had the same problem. Guess it is time to get a new set.

 

mine was doing that, and it turned out to be a bad alternator.
