2005 Durango SLT. Please HELP !
I have an 05 Durango SLT 4.7, I was having issues with my transmission (no 3rd gear or overdrive) So, I bought a used transmission and installed it today.
When we finished the install, got in turned ignition key and nothing happened,
no started sound, no turning over of then engine.
Only thing I see different is that the shift indicator lights light up, and then
there is an orange box around each of the letters. P R N D 2 1 .
Did I trip some kind of security codes ?
Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this ?
The truck ran great the other day before I started on it.
Thank You so much in advace with any help on this problem.

Thank You ALL for the replies.
The problem is fixed. It was caused because when I changed the tranny,
I was not able to properly seat the main connection plug into the transmission.
This in turn caused the computer to send a signal to the trans, but, was not getting the proper signals back.
Once I got the plug to go in (most) of the way, the truck started, but the indicators had GREEN squares around them ! !
After checking with my friends at a local transmission shop, they were able to seat the plug properly and now my truck runs and shifts perfectly.
They told me it was because my fingers are the size of sausages, and that is why I couldn't get it to seat properly. (Not enough room for my hands to get in there).
