2005 Durango Satellite Radio issues
Have the RAQ 6 Disc changer head with Sirius in a 2005 Durango LTD.
We've had problems with the satellite part of the receiver making a distorted sound then stop playing anything after several minutes of operation. All the other functions (FM/AM/CD)work fine, and the system still shows the Sirius channel and song info.
I bought a replacement RAQ unit, installed it and still having the same problem. A few minutes (anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes...) of Sirius, then a weird sound and then nothing. Sometimes the Sirius service will come back, most the times it takes shutting the vehicle off for a while.
I've tried sending a Sirius reset signal several times, unplugged the radio for 15 minutes, even disconnected the batter for 15 minutes. No joy.
Any help in troubleshooting the issue would be most appreciated...
