More A/C problems and questions
I have posted here a lot. 2006 Limited, 4x4, hemi, I have replaced the entire A/C system in the last 2 years. Now the compressor clutch will not come on most of the time. I've replaced the relay and checked the fuse. I did notice some melting under the relay. Not much I took it all apart and the wiring is fine. The regular fuse is good. I unplugged the wire going to the compressor. I tested it with my volt meter and got 14 volts. Plugged it back in and the clutch came on. Rode around and it cooled down to less than 40 degrees. Cut it off then cranked it again 30 min later and it didn't come on. Once again I pulled the plug apart and tested t=it and there was no voltage. I wiggled the relay and tested it again and it had 14 volts. Plugged it in and it worked. Is anyone having problem with the PCM or the relay box or anything like that?? If I wasn't building a new house, Id trade this thing in for anything other than a Durango.
Update, sorry almost a year later but I've been real busy and I guess since the a/c has been working very good I haven't gotten on here. I had to change my contact email on here so now I will be notified if anyone has a question. The high pressure switch worked good for me and it was less than $250.
