Cool Best Motor Oil for 2005 Durango

Hello. Other than Mobil 1 can anybody recommend the best fully synthetic motor oil and the weight for a 2005 Dodge Duango 4.7 V8. Thanks.

Moved to the correct section.

Mobile one is one of the best out there. No need to stop using it if you have been.

Default Oil Filter

I just got a new engine for the 3.7 V6 and now the break in oil period is over (1,500 miles)...I'm going to put in 5w-30 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and wondering if their high performance filter would be the best one to have as well, to match?

Also, realistically should I just go 6,000 miles between changes, and for the filter as well...even though it suggests much more miles?

Here is where I do all my shopping from. One oil change a year for full Synthetic for under $100.00

Mobil synthetic is great oil. I wouldn't change unless looking for extended interval benefits. I've been using Amsoil since 1992 and changing oil once a year. EXCEPT, for this Jasper engine I have now that is still under warranty.
