When I try to open the liftgate by hand or with the button it opens but only if I press the button twice. I hear a click noise the first time and a noise like it is trying to open but then it stops. If i press the button again it opens. Suggestions?

 

Lock or latch mechanism(s) probably needs to be lubricated.
