Exhaust flex pipe question

Exhaust flex pipe question
Good morning! I recently developed an exhaust leak - the flex pipe has rotted and needs to be replaced. I cant tell how it is attached to the piece coming out of the front of the muffler. Is it welded or can it just be replaced and clamped in?
