I have a 2006 Limited. The power liftgate will no longer latch. There is a TSB for this issue, which says that it may need to be reprogrammed. But that it only if a code comes through for the liftgate, which it does not. Which leads me to believe that the assembly needs to be replaced. The dealership wants $300, which I really can't afford. None of the junkyards in my area have an 06 or 07 Limited or Adventurer (only years and models that will work). The only 06 I found was an SLT, so no power liftgate. Does anyone have any idea where I could check to try and find one? Or any info on how hard it would be to remove the assembly and rebuild it? Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
