drivetrain trouble shoot
hello,
heres the run down on my vec, its a 04 durango st 4.7l with about 186k miles. the transmission kickdown solonoid was replaced about a year ago. last month i moved from ny to wa, during the trip while passing threw montana the transmission was slipping in the high range but not the low range. the temperatures were in the single digets, an it was snowing threw some of the trip. fast foward to about 3 weeks ago, I start to notice a thud both when "garage shifting", an when i take my foot off the gas while traveling at 60-75 mph. it has become slow shifting, especially when going into higher speeds. any ideas? transmission band?
