'05 D with AC issues. Stumped and looking for ideas.
Have had '05 durango for ~8 years. Never had an issue with AC until this summer when with AC on, the air being blown through vents was not cold.. not even cool. Pressures were good (L: upper-mid 30s, H: 230ish @ 90degrees) and clutch engages.
With front and rear AC, i found the air in the back was blowing cold, just front would not blow cold.
Last night i replaced front expansion valve, accumulator/drier and pressure switch.
Vacuumed down and held vacuum (26psi) for over hour.
Recharged to correct pressure and clutch engages.
Now front AND rear blow warm air. No cold. Drove around to see if air flow would help; no dice.
I don't get it. Any thoughts, ideas, etc... About to go out here in a few mins to check again and scratch my head over it.
Thanks!
