Headlight/Dashlight issues.
2006 Dodge Durango
Headlights flash off and then on at random intervals. Took it to a mechanic and of course nothing happened so they cant find the issue. It happens sitting still or driving. Might flash once, and then nothing for a week. Sometimes multiple times a week or day.
All the dash lights will flash off at the same time.
The first mechanic I took it to a couple years ago thought it was a bad battery since it kept draining over night. Replaced the battery, but the lights kept doing it, and no more current draw on battery. Then the camshaft position sensor failed. Replaced it and everything worked except lights.
The battery started draining again this year. Different mechanic determined it was the battery, but could not find issues with lights. Replced battery, no more drain, lights keep acting up. Now the camshaft position sensor has failed again.
Anybody have any ideas? This is driving me nuts!
