Hey people! I'm new here. My question is, when I try to fill my tank, instead of the gas pump stopping my tank will start spitting out fuel. I just replaced the fuel pump. What's going on with that?

 

If it didn’t do this before replacing the fuel pump, the filler vent is probably not installed correctly. Kinked or something like that.

 

There is a TSB for fuel spit back when fueling. Not sure what year your durango is, but you may qualify for this TSB. Only covers 06-08 Durangos. It is a free fix if you are part of it. I had it done to my 08 Aspen which is based on the 2nd gen Durango.
