Hey guys, I have an 06 Durango 5.7 all wheel drive. My dumb *** went swimming the other day and the only key fob I have was in my pocket. Got back to the truck, and of course, key fob no longer worked. Unlocked manually, and alarm started going off. Put key in and tried to start, started for 2 seconds and shut off. After 6 times , well now does not crank at all. Obviously not reading the dead key fob. Disconnected the horns so it wasnt so obnoxious. Had towed back home, and battery has been disconnected for 2 days. Tried again tonight, but as soon as I hook battery back up, alarm is still going off. I got a new key fob from the dealer, but I need to stop the alarm before I can attempt to program the new key fob. Please, I need help!! I am not going to take this thing to the dealership!!
