I have a 04 durango 4.7l AWD and my suv cranks but will not start. I have replaced the fuel pump, oil pressure sender, crank sensor, TPS, almost every sensor you can think of. I also replaced all of the fuses and relays.
I have been trying for months to get this thing going but it's all in vein. The engine does want to turn over but the fuel pump is not activating. My friend told me it could be due to the ASD or my immobilizer unit. Don't know what the hell he's talking about there. I did the spark pressure test and the oil pressure test and the are working fine. I have one code always popping up, P0522. That indicates low oil pressure but I have changed everything that has to do with oil. At this point I spent more on fixing the damn thing than I bought it for. It has overheated 4 times before not turning on again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
