Emissions issues on 5.7
Hi guys, greetings from the UK.
I am trying to remotely help my brother get his 2005 5.7 back on the road and could use a few pointers. It died on him a while back and wouldn't restart, we got him a code reader and found P0340 and P0038
P0340 was a simple cam sensor and changing that got the engine to run. P0038 is Bank 1 o2 sensor #2 which I understand to be the post cat sensor on the passenger side, is this correct? I ask because he swapped it and the fault doesn't clear. The vehicle is in limp mode. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
