Transmission problems
I have a 2001 4.7L V8 Dodge Durango and when I go to drive it it doesn’t move as if the transmission stopped pulling. What are some things I can do to fix this problem. I also have a 2004 4.7L dodge Dakota so could I swap out the transmission in a worst case scenario.

How many miles on the '01? Is it 4x4 or RWD? Check your fluid level if you have not, and make sure it is properly filled. Dodge made some changes in 2004 to their PCM/engine management system, so the 04 trans may not have compatible sensors or connectors.
