Default AC clutch has no voltage 04 dodge durango 5.7

looking for help .My AC clutch does not have power & wont turn on . I pulled codes po645 Ac clutch relay control circuit & code po533 AC conditioning refrigerant pressure sensor A circuit high . So i replaced the Relay & replace the high pressure sensor . Still no power . So i jumped the relay plug #30 & #87 & the clutch turns on . Great but now why wont it turn on without jumping the relay ?

Did you replace the safety switch on the receiver dryer? Does the system have a charge? If it's low, the low pressure safety switch will not let power to it.

Hello no i did not replace the safety switch .on the dryer . what happen was last summer the AC worked but was not real cold .So i bought son freo from parts house it has it own guage on the can i added some it worked great .So this summer i turned the AC on & the clutch would not turn.So i thought it must be low on freo .So i hooked the freo up to the low side & the can gauge went to red line & says do not add . Then i ran codes and it read code PO645 AC clutch relay control circuit & PO533 AC Ref presure sensor A circuit High were bad . So i relaced both of them still did not make clutch work . So i jump a wire beteen #30 & #87 on clutch relay & the clutch worked . So now i am not sure what to replace now . Also the parts house told me that maybe i had to much freo in the system & had me release some off the high side ,That did not help any thing ,Thanks

Over charging is as bad as undercharging. I've seen some switches that stick when over charged and cut the compressor out to avoid damage. Replace the switch, let all the pressure off and try recharging it again. My Escalade needs to have this done after I miscalculated how much refrigerant to put in after removing the rear a/c system from the circuit. I'll pump the system down but not everybody has a vacuum pump to pump the a/c system down.

In the old TV show "Kung Fu", they always had flashbacks by the protagonist to when he was young and in training. His Master would say "Ah, Grasshopper, the first sign of wisdom is to know when one does not know". Personally, I'm not too proud to ask for help with things I don't know much about. I've been working on cars and trucks since I was 5. (I didn't really FIX one till I was 10 but we'll gloss over that.) I'll still ask advice from others if it's something I'm not good at.

I had the presure check he said it was good . I can get the clutch to in gage when i jump the AC relay with a jumper wire . Also when i use a test light and prong the green wire /Black strip wire that goes to the i think its the high or low switch And ground it to the AC compresser the clutch will in gage .Any ideal i am thinking i might have a ground issue but nor sure . ?? Thank

If it works when you jump the relay, is the relay good?
