Good day all! I have an 07 with the Alpine stereo system that I'm giving away to my son. He has an old JVC radio that I'm trying to put in, but I'm having a lot of trouble doing so. I've spent almost $200 just trying to find the right wiring harness. I can get power to the new radio, but no sound. All wires are connected correctly and I'm not adding anything with nav or bluetooth, it's just a double din radio receiver with a CD player. I have not connected the steering wheel controls, but that shouldn't affect anything other than the SWC because that's a separate harness. Just looking for some info - I'm learning there are a lot of places that won't even deal with these 2nd Gen Dodges.....

 

Did you purchase through Crutchfield? They have excellent tech support. Just a thought.

 

One of the harnesses, yes. Unfortunately that harness didn't fit the vehicle. The one I found that does is from an audio shop in the area and is PAC brand. I'm working a few different angles here! I've always a lot of success from this forum though, guys here saved me more than a few times when I had my Gen 1 Durango.
