Default 2004 5.7 front fuel line

I'm looking to buy the braided section of the fuel line that goes onto the fuel rail. Mine is leaking as the shop that changed swapped the engine for me didn't use the correct tool for the quick disconnect. Seems like the Mopar item is discontinued. Any ideas?

Can I just cut off the end and make a new connection? Obviously we're dealing with fuel lines here so it's gotta be done really well. Any insight?
