I'm new to this site and thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.
I have a 2006 Durango 5.7 Hemi and I installed a new water pump kit that came with a new fan clutch about 2 weeks ago. Since I installed those the fan revs very fast "it kinda sounds like a semi".
I have to let off the gas so the truck will shift at times because of this which I do not understand because I have never had this problem before and I don't know how changing a water pump and fan clutch would cause this but it did.
Has anyone ever had this issue before or know what is going on? The temp is running normal so I don't get it.
