Default Heater core replacement

Please can someone help my husband and I with the steps and and any diagrams that would help us with this thanks

Melissa:
As you have likely discovered, accessing the heater core requires that the entire dash be dismounted, and pulled back from the firewall. It can be DIY'ed, but expect it to take a good couple of days, and take your time! Label every screw, nut and piece of hardware so you know where it came from, and where it goes back. Take lots of pics as you remove it, in the event you need to recall what came from where later on.

I have not done it, and am very thankful I have not had to!
