Please help if u can .my durango was not running smooth so i sprayed the CRC cleaner With the battery neg cable unhooked & then using my finger to open the butterfly and sprayed inside .Now i have no throttle it starts biu mo peddle .So i took it to dodge dealer and they are saying that i ruid the throttle body by using my finger to open it without the key on .Are they blowing smoke or not they say that when u open them without the key on that the plastic gears break in the throttle body ? Thanks u .

 

Yes they are absolutely right you are never to touch the butterfly valve with your fingers, it's an Electronic Throttle Body and it's very sensitive... So maybe I think you need to consider getting a new throttle body....

 

Even with my battery - battery cable disconnected ? So the dealer replaced it now & there no change it still starts & idle great but like Air at the pedal . They saying they are not getting any power at the pedal like 5 volts .Thank u for feed back all the help .
