2007 Durango Ltd Sunroof Gasket
I just purchased a used 2007 Dodge Durango Limited (5.7L 2WD 5SPD) with a power sunroof. The rubber gasket around the sunroof glass is sticking to the sunroof glass and the body, so when the sunroof goes to open it can't because the gasket is attached to both.
Based on what I could find, it looks like what I need is the 'Sunroof Trim Lace' (possible Mopar part # ZB47BD1AA). Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued. I tried calling the dealer and their answer was that I'd have to buy a new sunroof (glass) for nearly $800 (on the phone they weren't 100% sure the new glass would come w/the gasket or not).
I'm having a hard time justifying $800 on a new sunroof when all I need is a strip of rubber. Does anyone have any aftermarket recommendations or options? Perhaps another year/model that would fit?
