I have a 2nd gen or 2006 slt 4.7L just turned over 313,000km.
We moved to the mountains roughly 6 yrs ago, my wife dailied this one back then, I recently took it over about a yr ago.
Im wondering if the increase in elevation makes an effect on the mileage? I know its a 5000lb vehicle and its gonna burn fuel, I know. Its just a curiosity in my brain more than anything. I was hopingbto hear from.people who may have had experiences livibg in higher elevations.
I had a quick look through some forums but came up a little short. Im gonna do some internetting, for what ever thats worth. Like I say its more of a curiosity than anything.
Canmore, Ab sits at 1308 meters or 4296 feet.
