I spent 1300.00 replacing the MDS solenoids. I'm sure the mechanic used after market solenoids. Not sure if that makes a difference but the check engine light would not turn off. About 8 months later vehicle was running like it was stuck in 4cyl again and the codes indicated it was the MDS system again. Mechanic determined 2 of the solenoids were bad and they were replaced under warranty but cost 500.00 labor to change them. Now the check engine light is still on and it is running good but it just feels that during deceleration I feel like the valves will hesitate or something. I just feel some type of engine performance change. I'd really like to delete the MDS feature all together. I don't care about gas mileage or having some suped up performance type engine. I just want the engine to perform smooth and not give me any problem. I'm looking at buying a tuner to delete it. Looking at the 3815 superchips and the diablo predator. I just would like to hear from someone that has used a turner and which one to delete the MDS on a 2006 durango hemi. Thank you.
