Default DVD add on ?????

Looking to purchase a DVD from ebay or elsewhere. Is there a wiring harness currently in the headliner area of the 2nd gen Durango if the unit did not have one installed at the factory? Do the folks that have the factory DVD like it? Any other ideas????? Thanks.....

It is an aftermarket add on in the brouchure so the dealership should do it. As far as a DIY project i think it will be extremely tedious, especially hiding the wires, unless you get one of the flip screen in dash ones. Ive never done an install of a overhead console DVDsystem so i can't say for certain, maybe im wrong.

The wiring might be there, i know the wiring for the power pedal and the heated seats are in mine, and i am going to put the heated seat controls in... bloody Canadian winters.

I was contemplating putting the DVD player in mine, but i ended up inheriting a portable DVD player so I am just going to use that. You may even think of going this route, less work and you can take it out when you arent using it to avoid tempting the would be thieves out there.

dodgeybloke, The dealership doesnt do them.... the last two my dad ordered straight from DCX have had DVD, we've had about 5 vechiles from DCX w/ DVD in them....

as for wireing haress, I would imagine that they wouldnt have them... just because that is another way to cut down on costs...
