Does anyone know how to activate this feature on a 04 Durango, without going to a dealer?

Its in the overhead console menu, While going through the menu you should see "easy access enrty" or something like that, when it is on the menu press step and tun it on.

Thanks for the responce dodgemech. I have read the manual till I have blurred vision! I went out & messed with the overhead console. I can't seem to pull up a menu. I see the step button, but can't get a menu. Do you have any more info on how to get to the menu?

All I can find in the manual, is to have a qualified mech. set this feature.

My bad Roudy-all the models are different. MOST let the customer set this feature in the menu pull down, if its not there then we have to set it in customer preferences using DRBIII. sorry dealer only in that case. They shouldn't charge you for it-especially if you go back to the dealer who sold it to you.
