Default Factory Remote Start

Was Remote Start an option for the 05 year? If so how does it work, I am not shure if it is installed on my Durango.

You would actually have a key fob to control the remote starter.

Oh ok, on my Ram you just press the lock button 3 times in a row. Just thought it was similiar.

I track these things for my site, and to my knowledge remote start is not offered as a factory option on any Chrysler or Dodge. There does appear to be a Mopar aftermarket kit, though.

I'm assuming the "press lock three times" system is aftermarket. Mopar? Interesting approach, to make sure the car is locked before you start it.

My Ram still uses the factory remote for the Remote Start, that is why I asked.
