Hello all i am new to this but i had a question maybe some of you could answer for me. I just bought a 2005 durango adventurer( left over but its still new so i got the good waranty!) Any ways i just got the thule roof rack put on and the front fairing doesnt touch the roof like instructions say its supposed to due to the way the factory roof racks mounts are set up. Has anyone installed these and if so does it really matter if there is a small gap under the fairing?

 

it doesnt touch the roof, but both side should touch or near close to touching the roof rack side rails...

 

Mine didn't touch the roof when I first put it on. After six months it seems to just sit on the roof now.
