I sure would appreciate some help. My 98 Durnago has been sitting for months. The battery died, I replaced it, I tried to start it before I unlocked it. It turned over. but would not fire. At some point it just stopped doing anything- not even trying to turn over, no lights, etc.

I was told byu a dealer(unavailable now) that my black key model thougfht I as trying to steel it. I was to lock/unlock 3 times with key. I did. It now truns over very well, but still not fire. I've mace sure it has some gas (3-4 gallons- nioty gage does register anything. I even tried (safely) adding a few drips of gas into the carb. Still not firing. Any and all help is apprecioated. Thanks in advance

 

Why don't you try the 1st gen Durango's for this answer, we are 2nd gen.
