I just purchaed an 04 Durango with 5.7 Hemi 4x4. I actaully picked it up from the Dealer this a.m.. On the way home I noticed that the traction control light was on, along with the ABS light. I tried pressing the traction control button and nothing happened. I stopped and shut the truck off to do some research. After reading the manual it said if the ABS light was on there was some sort of problem and if the traction control light was on the Traction Control was actually off. I started up(about 10 mins later) to head back to the dealer and both lights were out. I then just headed home and everything seemed fine, until the next time I started it and the same thing happend. I immediately shut the truck off and turned it back on but the lights didn't go out. After the truck sat awhile off, when I started it back up the lights were out. I called my salesmen and he is going to talk service about it on Monday. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? It seems it has to be realted to something that interfaces with both the ABS and Traction control. Thanks for any help.
