I am looking for a new vehicle for my wife. It also needs to tow a car trailer with a 2800 pound car.

I have been warned that towing has been very hard on the rear ends, in the past. This is from a friend who has had to replace several in other people's Durango's. He mentioned his local Dodge dealer keeps 4 on hand because of this problem.

So what's the deal with the 04's? Any better?
