Default Pillar Gauges

Got my brand NEW 2006 SLT on Dec 27th...( I sorta miss my Black Beauty 02 R/T )..
One ( or two ) things missing....No Oil or Volt gauges.
I would like to put them in..Only way I see is to have a Dual Pillar mount. But I can't find anything for any 2006 Durango....Lots for Ram..
Anyone have any ideas..
TIA..

Default RE: Pillar Gauges

Greetings, I asked a similar question last year when i got my 07 as well, I was disappointed that I didn't get any responses.

I had been thinking of a generic dash pod, but they are a little ugly, I also had thought of mounting a pod or a couple guage cups beneath the dash or on the side of the console kinda below the 4WD switch, but I thought it might crowed my legs a little. I haven't had time to study the ram pillar pod to see if it is even remotely compatible with the Durango, but at first glance it doesn't look like a fit. I was also wondering if a ram column pod might be compatible but nothing looks like a fit.

I am almost leaning toward putting some gauges in the forward part of the center cubby, beneath the ESP button.

The autometer NV gauge appears to be a very close match to the factory dash, it backlights a glowing green and has an illuminated pointer, If i could find a place to mount, I would this model.

Again, I am disappointed at the participation on this site, doesn't seem as active as the dodge diesel truck site i often use for my other toy.

Regards

There are none made for the Gen2 Ds.
You will have to try a Gen1 Durango pod or one from a RAM and retro-fit it... or you could get a center mount console pod and skip the pillar idea.
