Default Got my new '04 Durango!

Just bought my new '04 SLT Hemi 4x4 and love it. Through supplier/affiliate program I was able to get it for 24.5K, MSRP was 33.5K. It did have 160 miles on it as it came in as a dealer trade from another dealer so I assume they drove it over.

Now I gotta accessorize it! Think I like the chrome nerf bars rather than the step boards. How about the stainless door sill protectors, they worth it? It came with front and rear floor mats but did not come with a mat for the 3rd row. What other items are worthwhile?

I plan to tow our 4200lb 21' travel trailer. Anyone do any towing with theirs? How's it do? I currently use my '01 Ram 1500 to tow but will be nice to be able to use either vehicle.

Sweet! I just closed on mine this afternoon. 04 patriot blue SLT Hemi. I friggin love this thing! I am looking for mods already since I cant leave well enough alone. So far, I am ordering a CAI, and taking it to my buddy at Midas for a dual exhaust.

I have a 04 Limited w/Hemi and tow a 31 ft Trailer (just under 5000# loaded). You will not have any difficulty towing a 21 ft trailer with either V8. I towed a 21 ft. Trailer with a 2001 Ford Windstar which has the same wheelbase as the 04 Durango. Other than the fact that it was a tad underpowered, the trailer was not noticeable from a sway perspective. I had a Reese WD hitch with single friction sway control. On occastion I would forget to tighten the friction and never noticed any difference. (Due to length of the current trailer I use a dual cam hitch).

Congrats I know how you feel. I am also looking for accessories, like the chrome grille. I have some pretty nice mods on mine. Check it out in the Gallery the album name is Marine 702 it is on the 6th page or so, I am wearing a Marine Corps uniform next to the Durango! Tell me what you think!

Just picked-up my new '04 Limited Hemi 4x4 this evening. I couldn't pass up $11.5k off sticker. Actually it is my wife's car I ordered myself a Magnum R/T on 7/10 and still no build date yet. Yeah ......they've got Hemis. I am enjoying reading this forum and looking forward to letting the mods begin.
