Default ??Vehicle Entertainment System Problem

Has anyone had a problem with the AUX inputs on the VES? I have tried to connect my MP3 player and it worked at first but ever since it has not. On the DVD screen it says dvd shared or fm shared depending on what my radio is set to. When I first turn on the VES it is on the VES tab on the screen but shows no info. When I press the MODE button on the radio it does not switch. Is there a was to reset the system or is it just malfuntioning? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try raising the volume on the MP3 player? If the VES doesn't detect a sound through the Aux input then it won't activate it. It's happened to me with my Ipod.
