Remote entry issues
I have a 2002 Intrepid ES that I need some advice or guideance on. We have a problem that has been going on for sometime and the dealer cannot find anything. When we take the car in, it is not failing and there is no information on the on board computer to indicate a problem
When we are driving the car the remote entry relay starts to operate and release causing the interior lights and the flashers to operate. The locks do not unlock and there is no indication of them trying to lock again. This happens at various speeds and on any road conditions. This happens when either one or both of the keyless remotes are in the car in site and not being touched or the buttons being pushed. Even if the buttons were being pushed, the system is designed to not operate anything while the engine is running.
Any ideas or has anyone else experienced the same issue and how was it resolved?
